BIOSMARTAVI is being developed as a distinct poultry-focused technology within the BIOSMART research pipeline. Because poultry are monogastric animals, its biological rationale, validation programme and evidence base are evaluated independently from BIOSMARTPRO® and BIOSMART’s ruminant research.

- Gut-function research relevant to production.
- Production-relevant biological responses, under defined conditions.
Evidence. BIOSMARTAVI is evaluated through its own poultry-specific programme; evidence generation is ongoing. Results are not transferred from BIOSMARTPRO® ruminant studies.
