• Consultiation of farms
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Regularly scheduled visits to clients; maintain visit logs and notes.

• Report to the Director of Nutrition – no chain of command – quick decisions.
• Day travel within the territory – overnight travel as needed
• Continued education and staying current with research and industry.
• Provide client training.

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, agriculture, business, or relevant science-related degree
• 5 or more years’ experience in sales and/or technical support role relevant to the dairy industry
• Working knowledge of the farm and data management software
• Technical knowledge of nutritional models and management practices

• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work independently with exceptional organization skills
• A passion for the dairy industry and cows

Preferred:

• Advanced degree (M.S., Ph.D., DVM)
• Bilingual ability
