RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain a high level of customer service with prospective clients, while maintaining accurate records of call activity, expenses and the sales process with each client and prospect.
  • Identify key influencers in the assigned geography and develop lasting value-added relationships with them that will improve sales volume in the assigned territory.
  • Responsible for placing orders. Directly report to the branch head. Play a link between the customer and Supplier. Work independently as a self employed. Purchase from the supplier and retail in proper territory.
  • Group discussions & up-gradation of market information, research reports
  • Revenue generation
  • Customer profiling
  • Activation of inactive and potential clients
  • Increasing volumes and revenue
  • Regular meetings with clients for maintaining relations
  • References from existing clients to acquire new clients
  • Updating clients, company’s research reports, following the protocols of the supplier

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education:

  • Completion of a bachelor’s/ master’s/phd degree at an accredited college or university in the field of nutrition, agriculture, veterinary, zootechnics.
  • Any Equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable.
  • Understanding of the dairy feed industry. Understanding of sales and marketing to the dairy feed industry. Understanding of the consultative sales process. Understanding of dairy nutrition. Understanding of standard software applications (Microsoft Office).
